GM and Officer:
(Gnome Overlord and Officer Gnome)
The GM and Officer will primarily ensure the following:
- The guild can raid
- See number 1
In addition, these individuals will care for the upkeep of the guild bank and ensure that it is adequately funded through sale of items from guild runs. Also, members of this rank will be tasked with the same expectations of the Raider rank. Currently our GM is Tribeard and the officers are Floral and Kassany.
Raider
(Raider Gnome)
We expect our Raiders to come to the raids repaired and repaired. They must understand that the red glowing vortex on the ground is bad, that blue stuff raining from the sky does not give you a bonus to damage, and green exploding goo is bad. It is our expectation that all raiders seek to maximize their character by competently gemming, enchanting, and speccing themselves for raiding. It is also a requirement that they maintain an acceptable rate of attendance.
Backup Raider
(Backup Raider Gnome)
These are raiders that for whatever reasons are unable to fully make our raid schedule but have gone through the trial phase. We expect the same level of play from our backups that we do from our raiders.
Trial
(Trial Gnome)
Trials are new members who have recently joined our guild. During the trial period (which will last from 2-4 weeks) it is expected that the member maintain impeccable attendance, have a general understanding of all content we have cleared or are currently working on, and also taking steps to ensure their gear is “best in slot” outside of 25 man raid instances. Trials are able to bid on items day one of their raiding career, though for tier pieces they have no priority even if they have more DKP than a full member.
Webmaster
(Webmaster Gnome)
In charge of maintaining our website and the custom-coded DKP system / plug-ins that our site uses. For raiding purposes this gnome is treated the same as the “Raider Gnome”.
Social / Alts
(Social Gnome / Alt Gnome)
Social members are free from all expectations and requirements. They are friends/family members who for whatever reason are unable to raid. These members may be allowed to come on raids if we decide that the instance is so on farm that we can do it in our sleep. Note that Raiders, Backup Raiders, and Trials will always have priority over a Social member. Alts will fall into the category of Social’s for raiding purposes. Officer alts will also fall into this category but will retain the in game permissions of the Officers.
