Loot Rules
Everyone wants Epix, right? Here’s how we do it.

Getting your Phat Loot is as easy as following these easy steps!
Bidding
25 Man Tier Pieces
The 25 Man Tier pieces are on a seperate DKP system than the normal loot. It is a fixed cost highest point total buy system.
Shoulders/Gloves: 15 ( Vault 8 )
Legs/Chest: 20 ( Vault 10 )
Head: 25
Tier bosses are worth 5 points each. Whomever wants the item and has the most DKP wins.
For further clarification please read this post.
25 Man Non Tier Pieces
25 man Non Tier Pieces are bid on as follows.
The minimum bid for these items is 5.
There will be one round of bidding. If you want an item, you’ll submit a bid. The “soft cap” for items is 25. If an item goes above 25 it will go into open bidding with the person who bid 25 getting the first dibs. Only members who submitted bids of 25 or greater will get to bid during this phase.
For further clarification please read this post.
Recipes
Recipes which drop will go to the member who can immediately use the item and has the highest current DKP. If no one can use immediately the recipe will go to the player of the correct profession with the highest DKP.
Should two members tie then lifetime attendance will be the deciding factor. If this also ties /random will apply.
Legendaries
Should we see any of these, the officers will assign the item as we see fit. Attendance, attitude, involvement outside of raiding, spec, etc will all play a part in deciding who gets these. We will also charge some value of DKP as a flat fee for receiving the item.
Miscellaneous Drops
This covers random trash we find in the instance as well as crafting mats, epic gems, anything that isn’t covered previously here. These items will be placed in the guild bank and used to enhance raiding gear. Gems (should they ever drop) will go on a first come first serve basis but will only passed out once per slot per instance tier.
In other words, if Floral gets new gloves day one in Naxx and the guild gives her 2 red gems to socket them with, and a month later still in Naxx she get new gloves as an upgrade, its her responsibility to socket those appropriately.
The guild will supply crafting mats found only in instances for all resist gear to raiders for free. Enchanting mats will be sold at 50% of their AH price for use on raiding gear.
Awarding Points
Points will be awarded in three ways.
1) Progression points
2) Boss kill points
3) Discretionary points
Each boss we kill will be given a specific DKP value which will change over time. Progression points will be awarded as necessary while we learn encounters. Discretionary points will be awarded for certain events we see fitting. DKP earned will be usable immediately and will be updated within moments of a boss death. It is the responsibility of the raider to know how many points they have at any given time. We will make every effort to check DKP during a bid, however mistakes may happen. If it becomes a pattern of a member to overbid DKP penalties or demotions may ensue.
Changing Mains
Should the situation arise that a member of their own choosing decides that they wish to change their raiding character they are free to do so. They will receive the following temporary penalities should they elect this change
1) A removal of all DKP or a 30 DKP penalty, whichever is greater.
2) A 21 day demotion to trial status. Reinstatement of Raider status will commence upon completing the probationary period as a trial and maintaining a 75% raid attendance during that time.
3) The inability to bid more than the “off spec cap” during bidding while on Probation.
Should an officer approach a member about changing their character due to holes in the raid (like we need tanks or we need healers), none of these rules will apply.

Officer discretion overrides any of these rules.
